The Las Angeles Rams come into Lumen Field in Downtown Seattle to take on the 2-2 Seahawks. While the Rams dropped a desicive loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle was able to take care of business last week against the San Fransisco 49ers, for a critical early season victory against a division rival.
Now we turn our attention to the 3-1 Rams, now led by a revitalized Matthew Stafford at Quarterback. Can the Seahawks once again take care of business, recreate true home field advantage and make this a legitimate 3-way race for the division title? Let’s find out!

This week unfortunately marks the exit for the 2020 football season for the team as they fall to the Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card round of the NFC Playoffs. In addition, as we finished recording our main session, word came down that Offensive Coordinator Brian Schottenheimer and the Seahawks decided to mutually part ways citing “Philosophical differences” between Pete Carroll’s direction and vision, and where the former coordinator felt the team should go.

Seattle finished the regular season 12-4 (Which Bill did predict before the season), and Keith finished right behind with a prediction of 11-5. The Seahawks reached the 3rd Seed in the NFC playoff bracket and will be matched up against the familiar foes, the Los Angeles Rams during Wild Card Weekend. It’s a home game without home fans, as has been the case during the duration of the 2020 season.

Welcome Seahawks fans, wherever you may be, for another edition of the Seahawks Playbook Podcast. Join your hosts Bill Alvstad and Keith Myers and we talk Seahawks football! The Seahawks have clinch the NFC West title for the first time since 2016 by beating the Los Angles Rams, 20-9 in the week 16 match up. By doing so, Seattle is guaranteed no worse than the 3rd seed in the NFC playoff picture, and at least one home field game in the playoffs. Seattle’s defense again stepped up big time in this game, while the offense did just enough to hand the rams their 6th loss of the year.
