Seattle Seahawks fans, thanks for joining Bill Alvstad and Keith Myers for the 223rd edition of the Seahawks Playbook Podcast. This week’s episode features our last look at NFL Draft prospects, and it ends with Cornerbacks. We unpack a rather large group of Seahawks worthy Corners that fit what the Seahawks look for in a prospect. Height, weight, speed, length, athleticism, agility, and instincts.

This group features players that will be available from the start of the draft until the last pick in the 7th round. It is a very deep class. That fact lines up perfectly with the fact that currently, Seattle could use at a minimum, a nice depth piece to add to the competition. At best, Seattle finds a future stud, that could come in this year and compete for a starting spot.

Bill and Keith go through each level of the draft and line it up to when Seattle makes its selections, to identify prospects that could be available when Seattle is on the clock, but also fit all the attributes Seattle has come to expect from its group of Cornerbacks. Based on our list of over a dozen potential selections, Seattle should not have any trouble adding a quality player throughout the 7-round process.

Do not miss our final show before the draft next week. We will have our 5th Annual NFL Draft Preview show. We dive in headfirst to everything draft related, including a full 7-Round Mock Draft. Find out how Bill and Keith overcome limited draft capital to come away with a John Schneider / Seahawks worthy 2021 NFL Draft!
