Seahawks fans, thanks for joining Keith Myers and Bill Alvstad for our latest edition of the Hawks Playbook Podcast! Seahawks finally put together a “Complete” win on the road vs the Arizona Cardinals. Seattle Started strong and built a 20-3 half time lead and finished strong with an 8 minute, 75-yard 4th quarter touchdown drive as C.J. Prosise ran in for the game sealing score. Final: Seahawks 27 Arizona 10

Now the Seahawks and Rams face a shortened week and play a key divisional early season match-up Thursday evening in Seattle. The Rams are coming off a devastating home loss vs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 55-40. Jared Goff had over 500 passing and two touchdowns, but also made a ton of mistakes and threw 3 interceptions which helped seal their fate.

Both teams enter this game at 3-1, currently tied for 2nd place behind the 49ers (3-0) who had a bye week. The loser of the Thursday night battle will leave the game in 3rd place at 3-2. This is the first real test for the Seahawks and would be a tremendous opportunity to start the season 4-1, make a statement to the Rams and begin the long road of putting some distance between the two teams that will surly be there at the end of the season fighting for playoff seeding.

Seattle travels to face the now competent Browns next week, so make sure you come back and preview that contest with us!
