Seahawks fans wherever you may be, welcome back to the latest edition of the Seahawks Playbook Podcast. Hey Y’all, we’re 5-0!! First time in franchise history to reach that mark. Seahawks scored on another Russell Wilson game winning drive with under two minutes to play from 94 yards out to close out the game. Before Seattle got the ball back for that drive, the Vikings had a win probability percentage of 96.9%, but Mike Zimmer chose to go for it on 4th down, 4th and inches from the 6 yard-line and Seattle held to force a turn over on downs. Wilson completed two 4th down conversions of his own to D.K. Metcalf, including the game winning touchdown play and Seattle escapes with the win to move to 5-0.
Seattle has reached its Bye Week this week. That gives the team time to access where they are at in all phases of the game, as well as bring back some players that have been sidelined for various injuries. Seattle should emerge after this week and before the Arizona Cardinals game as healthy as they have been all season.
Make sure you come back next week as Bill Alvstad and Keith Myers will preview the Cardinals game as well as take a peak ahead to the remaining schedule. This year is setting up to be very special.
