Hawks Playbook Podcast Episode 81 Chicago Blues and Dallas Preview

Seahawks fans welcome back to the Hawks Playbook Podcast. This week’s show dives into the second game and second loss of the season vs the Chicago Bears. What went right and what went wrong in the 24-17 defeat? Keith and Bill explore all of that and get into the nuts and bolts of what might be wrong with Coach Pete Carroll. What’s happening with Coach Brian Shottenheimer’s offensive scheme and why it’s likely not lining up with Russell Wilson’s skill set.

In the middle, Keith and Bill get into a nice little debate about scheme philosophy concerning the run game and how the current plans might not work in today’s NFL game. Bill sides with Pete Carroll and a run first mentality and Keith explores his dark side by making a stand that the team must go all in with Russell Wilson and a pass first attack.

Finally we end with a bit of hope. Hope that the Seahawks can and will put it all together for a win this weekend against the Dallas Cowboys. This is Seattle’s home opener and it couldn’t have arrived soon enough. The team is in desperate need of a win and we think this could be the week Seattle gets its first W of the season.

So sit back, relax and enjoy the show.  Please remember to follow us on Twitter. Keith is @MyersNFL. Bill is @NWSeahawk and the show is @HawksPlaybook.
