Keith and Bill open the first half of the podcast with a look back at the career and accomplishments of Paul Allen, Owner of the Seattle Seahawks after Paul lost his battle with Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma this week. We did take some time as well to explore what it means going forward to the franchise that he not only saved to remain in Seattle, but allowed it to thrive in a uniquely Paul Allen sort of way. There is only one Paul Allen, and he will be sorely missed as an owner, and more importantly, as a human being you touched the lives of so many in such a positive way through innovation and philanthropy. Rest In Peace Mr. Allen.

Seahawks fans welcome to the 84th edition of the Hawks Playbook Podcast! Today, Keith and Bill delve into the painful home loss against the Los Angeles Rams. It’s only painful because the Seattle Seahawks exceeded expectations in the game to the point where we should have won this game. We certainly put ourselves in a position to win until the final possession, until two offensive line penalties took us out of field goal range and we had to punt the ball back to the Rams offense. As things worked out, the Rams were able to do just enough and run out the close to preserve a 33-31 win.
