As we catch up with Dan, we ask him to share his perspective on the off-season so far, including thoughts on the largest story we’ve been covering; The Russell Wilson Saga. We ask Dan if he thinks it’s over for now, or if he thinks there might be a blockbuster trade waiting in the wings during the leagues NFL Draft at the end of April. As part of that discussion, we bring in a mock draft just completed by Doug Farrar of USA Today’s Touchdown Wire. Doug proposes that blockbuster deal with the Miami Dolphins.

Miami Dolphins get:QB Russell Wilson.

Seattle Seahawks get:  • QB Tua Tagovailoa / plus the following draft picks:

Miami’s Draft Picks:2021 First Round Pick / 3rd Overall, •2021 First Round Pick / 18th Overall, •2021 2nd Round Pick / 36th overall and a2022 1st Round Pick

Would this be enough for you to pull the trigger on a trade of our franchise quarterback, and the most successful period of football in the entire history of the franchise? Find out what we think.

We spend the remaining hour of the show getting into all of the Seahawks moves so far in free agency. How have we created salary cap room to make moves? Who have the Seahawks decided to move on from? Who have they retained? Which outside free agency have we brought in to keep the team competitive at each position group of need? We also discuss the move to acquire offensive guard Gabe Jackson in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders over the weekend. Seattle sends a 5th round pick for Jackson who projects currently to fill the void left by the retirement of left guard, Mike Iupoti.

Overall, it’s a fantastic wide-ranging discussion of the entire off-season and free agency. you definitely don’t want to miss this show!
