Seahawks Playbook Podcast listeners, welcome back to the show! Up this week your hosts Bill Alvstad and Keith Myers provide updates and perspective on the continuing Russell Wilson story. The saga is not going away and it seems that a resolution in one form or another would happen before free agency is set to begin. That’s just next week. There are no direct reports at this point of specific trade discussions taking place, although teams and the Seahawks have had conversations about the Quarterback and what it would take to pry him away from Seattle. Keith and I discuss where things stand as of this recording.
In the last hour of the show, we continue our deep look into the 2021 NFL Draft Class. The position groups we are looking at this week are the Tight Ends and Wide Receivers. The TE group overall is average with 2-3 premium guys at the top of the class, 5-6 in the middle who could be solid additions and then everyone else. The Wide Receiver class is very deep and the talent extends to all levels of the draft. If the Seahawks turn to the draft this year to add talent to their group, they can definitely do that in this crop of players. Keith and I discuss about two dozens players overall out of both position groups that we feel would be great additions to the team. Up next week: Offensive Line Prospects.
Go Hawks!
