Hawks Playbook Podcast: The Dregs of Free Agency
Episode 4 of the Hawks Playbook Podcast has Bill and Keith breaking down the plethora of cast-offs and misfits that have recent signed 1-year deals with the Seattle Seahawks.
We’re back from our mini-vacation with a recap of the NFL free agency for the Seattle Seahawks. Bill decided that he’d had enough of Hawaii and came back to the rainy Pacific Northwest in time for us to get a show completed this week.
This week, we go down the list of all the players that the Seahawks have signed in free agency this, and discuss the disturbing trend that none of them are particularly good players. The Seahawks have addressed their depth at almost every position, but they haven’t actually gotten any better.
We also finally got a chance to do something we’ve wanted to do since Episode 1: spotlight just how awesome Michael Bennett is and how much he means to Seattle’s defensive scheme.
This episode checks in right at 50 minutes. That might still be a bit on the long side, but we couldn’t help ourselves.
You can listen right here on 12thMR, or you can find us on iTunes, BTR and just about any other podcast distributor.

Next week we move our release time to Tuesday as we tackle some of the big debates hanging over the Seahawks this offseason. Richard Sherman, Marshawn Lynch, and a surprise CB will all be discussed at that time.
As always, be sure to leave us any feedback you might have. We’re open to any suggestions and ways we might improve our show.
