Seattle Seahawks fans experienced a tough loss this week at the hands of the Los Angeles Rams in the last game they will likely ever play again in the Colosseum. Just about everything that could go wrong for Seattle did, and everything the Rams did, especially in the first half, worked out for them and they dropped the now 10-3 Seahawks 28-12, and it really didn’t even feel that close. This game was basically over at the half when the Rams pulled ahead 21-3.

In addition to the tough loss, it was equally as painful for the team to lose Rashaad Penny for the season with an MRI Confirmed torn ACL. Penny will likely have season ending surgery and will hope to be ready to go for 2020 training camp in July.

The Seahawks still find themselves squarely in the hunt for the division and a first round bye after this loss. If the Seahawks win their next 3 games, including a home rematch against the 49ers, they will win the division and secure home field advantage up until the NFC Championship game….and even that game at home is still in play. But first things first. Go get a win on the road against the struggling and now rebuilding Carolina Panthers.

Go Hawks!
