This was a great week for Seahawks fans far and wide! The Seattle Seahawks went in to Santa Clara last Monday night to face off against undefeated division foe, the San Fransisco 49ers and came away with a season defining win in overtime! Seattle won 27-24 on a game ending Jason Myers field goal that sent the 49ers to their first loss of the 2019 season, and propelled the Seahawks to eight wins and just two losses. More importantly going forward, it was the way Seattle came out on defense that defined this game, and quite possibly, the remaining 6 regular season games and on into the playoffs.

Any way you cut it, it was a great win for the franchise and separated the Seahawks into a class of 3-4 teams that are the premier teams in the NFC that will compete for a chance to go to the Super Bowl.

The Seahawks have entered their long awaited bye week and it has been well earned and will give the Seahawks an excellent chance to get as healthy as they can before hitting the final stretch of the season. Thank you so much for joining us each week as Bill Alvstad and Keith Myers break down each game, key statistics and the week’s news. Remember to return next week as we look ahead to the next game vs the Philadelphia Eagles in Philly.

Go Hawks!!
