Thanks for joining Bill Alvstad and Keith Myers for our latest edition of the Hawks Playbook Podcast. In this weeks episode we talk about the happenings around the Seahawks organization this week. A few free agent visits are scheduled. John Schneider sits down with 710 ESPN Radio in Seattle to discuss his Ben’s Fund charity, as well as several issues pertaining to the off-season and the NFL Draft coming up the last weekend of April. The biggest “News” this week is word out of Russell Wilson’s camp that a deadline of April 15th has been set as a date to have a new deal in place or contract talks will be cutoff. We discuss what that might mean.

In our featured segment this week, we continue to look at our Countdown to the Draft series, and up next is the offensive play makers groups: Wide Receiver, Running Backs and Quarterbacks. We discuss dozens of players up and down the draft board that fit the Seahawks draft profile at each position. All total, it’s 1-1/2 hours of great Seahawks football discussion.

Remember to return next week as we move our conversation over to the defense, and first up is the defensive tackles, DE/Edge and Rush Linebacker position groups. This group in the draft is the clear strength of the draft and it also fits into the largest need still for the team as it continues through the off-season.

Go Hawks!!
