Hawks Playbook Podcast Episode 79- Regular Season Prediction Show
Hello and welcome back to the Hawks Playbook Podcast. We made it to the 1st game of the season! The long wait is over and the games that count in the 2018 season begin Sunday, Sept. 9th at 1:25pm at The Denver Broncos. The Seahawks have historically struggled in Denver, and in season opening games on the road in general. But Denver is also retooling so to speak, and this contest is pretty evenly matched. Regardless, we’re here now, at the beginning of a new season where each team starts 0-0. Let’s go get the first one!!
In this week’s episode, Keith and Bill first look at the newly minted 53-man roster. Where are our strengths and weaknesses? Who will thrive and who will struggle on the 2018 version of the Seahawks? We will also take an initial look at the 10-man practice squad roster today, knowing this roster remains somewhat fluid during the season.
Finally, we get to the bulk of this show. Our predictions for each game of the regular season. Keith and Bill will look at each of the games match ups and predict the wins and losses for the season. Last year we had a great time, and both felt very optimistic that we would have a very successful run again towards the playoffs. It just goes to show that the NFL can be unpredictable. What once was an easy team to predict given its successful track record, has now entered a phase of transition where a slew of pro bowl caliber players has left and a new generation of 1st and 2nd year players will have their chance to make a name for themselves and start their own march towards playoff greatness!
