Hey Seahawks fans, welcome back to the 63rd edition of the Hawks Playbook Podcast! Both Keith and I thank you so much for your continued patronage and listenership. This week’s show will focus on the Tight End and Wide Receiver position groups. Just like last weeks show, we will break down each player on the roster, by position group. This now includes our rookie draft class, and undrafted free agent and tryout players now under contract as part of the larger 90-man roster.

Welcome back to another episode of the Hawks Playbook Podcast. This week its all about the new players acquired via the 2018 NFL Draft and Undrafted Free Agent Signings. This years’ picks are headlined by first round pick Rashaad Penny, and 5th round pick extraordinaire, Shaquem Griffin! This could be virtually the only time a 5th round pick could well overshadow a 1st round pick, and with plenty of good reason. The Shaquem Griffin story is not only the headline story of the NFL Draft, but has been the headline sports story globally. Before the draft, this was a hope….almost unspoken as to not get our hopes to high that it would actually go down like this, but sure enough, Seattle made its first of four picks in the 5th round on Griffin, to reunite the twin brothers on Seattle’s defense and renew a level of energy that this team has lacked these last couple of years.

Welcome back to the Hawks Playbook Podcast. Today’s episode is our special 2nd annual 7-round mock draft with trades. And Keith and I are recording the show in person for just the second time, and Keith brought home brewed beer!! We will sip on Keith own Irish Red Ale and a exceptionally excellent Cold Brewed Coffee Milk Stout as we go through the show. Keith and I researched and compiled our independently selected 7-round mocks and we were each allowed 3 trades. Two trades up front to drop back for extra picks, and one trade in the middle rounds to move back up. It was a really fun recording session and we think, a great podcast. And with that, lets get started!
